100 percent (maybe a little more)

Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart. Colossians 3:23

Two twin characteristics are essential when we think of putting our all into what we want to achieve. Determination and enthusiasm.

Determination is the quality that does not accept obstacles in the way of a desired outcome. Too many people read an obstacle as either a reason to give up or even a ‘sign’ they should stop. Quite the opposite is often the reality. Every high achiever will experience obstacles to the course they want to take. An obstacle should be conquered and could be as much a ‘sign’ you are on track and a character shaper for bigger things. Put courage into your course.

The man who can drive himself further once the effort gets painful is the man who will win. Roger Bannister, 1st athlete to run a mile in less than 4 minutes

Enthusiasm is the quality that brings what you are doing alive. If you aren’t convinced about what you’re doing you’ll never convince your boss, a customer or an investor. Be passionate about what you do – whatever it is.

“For every sale you miss because you’re too enthusiastic, you will miss a hundred because you’re not enthusiastic enough.” Zig Ziglar, Motivational speaker and author.

Determination and enthusiasm are yours today.
