Body Matters

Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good. Genesis 1:26 & 31 Look at what God has made.  It is good.  You are good.  He made you well. You carry His image.  No mistake whatsoever.  Learning to love what He has made … you … your body and learning to take care of it will revolutionise your world. Simple things you could do: 1. Exercise as part of your lifestyle: Moderate exercise for 30 minutes, 4 times per week. Eg. house work, gardening, walking to the shops.  Or Vigorous exercise for 20 minutes, 3 times per week. 2. Find out what effects your motivation: As soon as you get home change into your gym gear Combine activities: walk and pray, walk and talk, cycle and pod Vary yo

3-in-1 Health

Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit soul and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Thessalonians 5:23 Our well-being is never down to any one factor alone.  We are 3 in 1. Body, soul and spirit.  The health of one will effect the other. Your best life will be lived by taking care of each of these 3 areas. If you struggle with a low-self esteem you will find it harder to relate to God.  Changing your mind about yourself will effect your spirit life. If you are constantly exhausted through lack of sleep and exercise your mind will not have the fight in it to overcome life’s battles and temptations. If you let your heart go you will find this could effect your body.  A sick heart is not good for your health.

Determination is the quality that does not accept obstacles in the way of a desired outcome. Too many people read an obstacle as either a reason to give up or even a ‘sign’ they should stop. Quite the opposite is often the reality. Every high achiever will experience obstacles to the course they want to take. An obstacle should be conquered and could be as much a ‘sign’ you are on track and a character shaper for bigger things. Put courage into your course. Focus

"Paying attention to simple little things that most men neglect makes a few men rich." Henry Ford, founder of The Ford Motor Company. The power of focus is way more than simply knowing what you want and how you want it. Focus keeps your eye on the right things and off the distractions. It fuels high level of motivation required to achieve the most ambitious of desires. Right now why don't you write down in a clear and concise way where you want your career to end up. What will it look like. Then add faith to the equation. Keep that goal firmly in your mind, ask God to help you achieve it and be clear that it will happen. Focus will activate faith, it will de-clutter your life of other possibilities and activities. "Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things ...
