Workout on Faith
"Physical training is good, but training for godliness is much better, promising benefits in this life and in the life to come.” (1 Timothy 4:8 NLT)
Paul compares physical and spiritual training. The latter being much more beneficial.
But lets take the concept of physical training for a moment to show us how we can be in spiritual training:
- training is best done by routine - it is best to workout for a certain amount of time and for a certain frequency ... choose your time and length of time you are going to spend each day in prayer and in the bible
- workout where the gear is - at the gym, at home around your gear, out if you are running ... Find your place, where are you going to pray each day? What works for you?
