Everyday could be THE day!

Early on Sunday morning, as the new day was dawning, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went out to visit the tomb. Matthew 28:1

‘Early’ … ‘New day’ … After such a huge loss, a blow to their dreams. Where did the Mary’s go? They went to the Lord. They keep some glimmer of possibility alive. possibility of what? Well they probably didn’t know. They just knew, having been with Jesus that life around Him was never that ordinary and surprises were very common.

Even against all odds It is still possible to keep a glimmer of hope alive. Everyday we can arise with a sense that today doesn’t have to be ordinary. Even if you’re in a valley it can be an above average valley. On a mountain? It will be an above average mountain!

God has raised you up. Live everyday like its ‘THE new day’ not just ‘A’ new day.

Rise early, choose hope, keep in a state of preparedness. Keep the lamp of your life trimmed and full of oil.

Trim means to shed unecessary loads, focus on whats important and then get the oil on it.
You can trim, be incredibly disciplined but have no oil – a ‘tight’ believer!
You can have oil but have a charcoaled wick, too short for the oil you have – spiritual with no feet on this planet! OR

You can be trimmed and filled with oil – a powerful combination when you keep your expectation alive each day.

Have a great day. See you in Church.
