Why wait?

'Waiting on the Lord' is the process of giving time to the Lord. Its drawing near with a heart desiring to receive from Him. Waiting on the Lord keeps us realising He is our answer, not other things.
Waiting, as the word suggests, involves time and patience. It has in it a sense of expectation. Waiting for what? Clearly waiting for something has a desire in it.
isaiah tells us by waiting on the Lord we receive strength, energy, youthfulness and endurance.
